Are tickets available on the door?

  • Contrary to popular belief events don’t always sell out! There are often tickets on the door and returns when a concert is sold out (visit our What’s On page to check). So feel free to make a spontaneous visit.

Student Tickets

  • New to 2017 we are offering FREE TICKETS to all under 16’s. And free tickets to all under 18’s for Plush 13: Emerging Artists on 9 September ahead of the Student Day. Just select the appropriate drop down from the ticket options.

Booking Fee

  • Please note that a booking fee is included in the price of a ticket. This means that the festival absorbs the card and ticket handling fees.

Number of seats per booking

  • This season we have limited tickets for the Andras Schiff piano recital to x4 tickets per person. Please add your name to the waiting list to request additional seats. All other concerts allow booking for up to 6 people at least.

  • Seat numbers will be given to you on the door and are allocated in order of the date of booking. The seating is adjusted right up until the concert so that we can remain flexible and do our best to avoid any empty seats in our small venue. This is why we only issue the seat numbers on the day.
  • If there’s an area you prefer to sit please let us now as we’ll always do our best to satisfy (members have priority). Acoustics are similar throughout the venue, perhaps slightly better at the back, with visibility better at the front.

Refunds & returns

  • Contact us to return tickets or join the waiting list for sold out concerts. We often have returns on the door so if you live nearby do take a chance and join us on the day.
  • We only give refunds when a concert is sold out or under special circumstances. Get in touch if you’d like to request a refund.

Programme notes

  • Are included in the ticket price as well for full length concerts. Bonus! However, we do have a collection box if anyone feels they are able to contribute. The notes are all written by Adrian and edited by Kat. We don’t always produce them for events which are introduced by the artists.

Open Rehearsals

  • Open rehearsals take place in St Johns and are free events, there’s no need to book just come along! We welcome anyone who likes to hear music or to join us for this fascinating insight into work in progress.

How long are the concerts?

  • Concerts last around 2 hours with an interval of approx 20 mins.

Bar & Catering

  • We run a festival bar by the church (weather permitting) serving wine, pimms, juices, crisps and the like. Sometimes we also run a BBQ, but only when advertised. Many audience members bring picnics which can be enjoyed anywhere in the church grounds and house grounds leading up to the church yard. Please clear up litter afterwards.
